Caretaker Position at Jane St. Centre

Support community health as a Caretaker at Jane St. Child Care Centre with Macaulay Centres in Toronto.

Your role will focus on maintaining cleanliness and assisting in minor repairs.

This permanent part-time role entails 5.5 hours of work each day from 4pm to 10pm. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and overseeing various maintenance tasks both inside and outside the centre. By ensuring a safe and inviting space, your work will make a meaningful difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high cleanliness standards inside the Centre

• Take care of outdoor cleaning and maintenance

• Maintain playground features and safety equipment

• Execute seasonal maintenance schedules efficiently

• Keep an organized and secure inventory of supplies

Requirements:

• Proven experience in maintenance and repairs required

• Familiarity with health and safety standards

• WHMIS certification essential

• Ability to lift over 20lbs and work with ladders

• Strong ability to manage time and priorities effectively
