BGIS is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic - Grounds Keeper, focused on ensuring optimal maintenance of health facility grounds. This is your chance to contribute to a safe and clean healthcare environment.
In this position, you will be responsible for grounds upkeep and non-technical maintenance, with a strong emphasis on compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Prior experience in grounds operations is essential, while preference will be given to those with horticulture or landscape training. Your observations and suggestions will help shape the maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain grounds and non-technical facility components
• Conduct regular maintenance inspections
• Log work and compliance data accurately
• Operate equipment required for maintenance tasks
• Assist in preventive maintenance program development
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years of grounds maintenance experience
• High school diploma needed; trades education preferred
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Strong client service and communication abilities
• Must meet security clearance requirements
