Join the team at Sutton Place Hotel Toronto as a General Maintenance Person, dedicated to ensuring a seamless guest experience. You will handle repairs and preventive maintenance across all hotel facilities.
In this part-time role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and work within the esteemed engineering team. A minimum of two years' experience in a general maintenance role is essential. Your responsibilities will vary from plumbing and electrical repairs to maintaining the aesthetics of the hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine maintenance and repair tasks safely
• Manage guest requests and maintenance work orders promptly
• Maintain a well-organized maintenance shop and inventory
• Follow health and safety regulations during tasks
• Ensure compliance with company policies on privacy
Requirements:
• 2 years' experience in general maintenance required
• Plumbing and HVAC knowledge desired
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends
• Previous hotel maintenance experience is a plus
• WHMIS and First Aid certification beneficial
