Reporting to the Lead Hand and Environmental Services Supervisor, the Environmental Aide plays a crucial role in maintaining hospital cleanliness across various locations. Candidates should have recent experience in a similar role and the physical capability to support diverse cleaning responsibilities, including community vaccination clinic assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean all areas of the hospital diligently
• Utilize powered scrubbing and polishing machines
• Support community vaccination operations as required
• Manage waste disposal and linen collection
• Maintain high cleaning standards in isolated environments
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 education
• 1 year of applicable experience preferred
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of technology for client requests
