Maintenance Technician

Position: Hazelview Properties Maintenance Technician

As a vital part of our Facilities Management team, the Maintenance Technician will support day-to-day operations, conducting inspections and maintenance across a 1,140-unit residential building and commercial spaces. You will perform essential repairs, oversee compliance-checks, and maintain safety standards under the Facilities Manager's guidance to sustain resident satisfaction and building quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-suite repairs including electrical and fixtures

• Maintain all common areas and amenity spaces

• Conduct compliance inspections for safety and readiness

• Track deficiencies and coordinate repairs with management

• Monitor cleanliness of commercial spaces and ensure compliance

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in building maintenance or related field

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Familiarity with Ontario fire code and safety regulations

• Experience with Yardi or similar management systems

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
