Environmental Services Infection Control Cleaner

Use infection-control procedures, personal protective equipment, and specialized cleaning equipment as an Environmental Services Partner. Respond to demanding cleaning requirements across all campuses.

This Environmental Services role combines floor and carpet care with isolation-room cleaning and CBRN incident readiness. You will follow established procedures, work with minimal supervision, and complete duties assigned within the ESP role profile. English competency is required.

• Clean isolation rooms according to infection-control protocols
• Prepare areas through prescribed terminal cleaning procedures
• Dry and wet mop floors and stairs
• Use swing buffers, high-speed burnishers, and scrubbers
• Respond to and attend CBRN incidents

• Minimum Grade 11 education or recognized equivalent
• WHMIS training and competent English communication
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
• Ability to perform essential physical job duties
• Preparedness to use CBRN gear, full-faced mask, and Tyvek suit
