POSITION OVERVIEW

Navacord is seeking a Director, Total Rewards & Shareholder Relations who will be responsible for the comprehensive management of Navacord’s equity programs and Navacord Executive Total Rewards functions. The Director will oversee the full lifecycle of equity plans including implementation, execution, and accurate tracking, while delivering robust shareholder analytics to inform strategic decisions. This position is accountable for preparing board-level reports on equity and shareholder trends, owning executive compensation programs, and establishing the foundation for national compensation broad banding to drive consistency and competitiveness across Navacord.

In addition, national compensation broad banding and executive compensation ownership and analysis. This role will have 1 direct report.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own and manage end-to-end all equity plan operations for Navacord’s shareholder base

• Oversight of accurate tracking, record-keeping, and reporting of equity grants, vesting schedules and distributions

• Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and integrity and make recommendations for improvements as needed

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all shareholder inquiries related to equity plans; craft clear communications that improve understanding and reduce escalations

• Conduct detailed shareholder analyses to support strategic decision-making and provide data-driven insights

• Prepare concise, executive-level materials on equity metrics, shareholder trends, and program health for Board and Executive Leadership Team presentations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, and Legal to align equity programs to overall business strategy and regulatory requirements

• Shape the future of Navacord’s total rewards offering and support standardization initiatives

• Lead the L0-L3 annual compensation plans including incentive plan management for Navacord Corporate

• Own national external and internal benchmarking: curate market data sources and recommend structures that ensure competitiveness and internal equity

• Own national broad banding: define band architecture, progression rules, and governance; partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to embed bands in job design, leveling, and offers

• Lead the Total Rewards Centre of Excellence, providing direction to team members and driving standardization and adoption of rewards programs across Navacord

• Create compensation models and total rewards statements where applicable

REQUIREMENTS

▪ 10+ years in Total Rewards/Compensation, including hands-on equity plan administration and executive compensation; prior experience in a private company preferred

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/HR or equivalent; CPHR/CHRL and/or CCP/CECP considered assets. ▪ Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

▪ High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information

▪ Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

▪ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling), and ability to build dashboards or reports in BI tools (Power BI or Tableau)

▪ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

▪ Demonstrated experience preparing board reports and executive presentations

▪ Knowledge of securities regulations, tax implications, and employment law related to equity and compensation programs
