A well-established and growing real estate investment firm is in search of a hands-on, operationally focused to oversee a portfolio of over 2,000 multi-family residential units across the GTA. This is an excellent opportunity for a performance-driven real estate professional looking to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial team with executive-level exposure.
In this newly created role, you’ll report directly to the Director, Multi-Family and play a key part in shaping asset strategy, optimizing property performance, and executing capital improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be "hands on" with a proactive mindset, financial and operational expertise, and a passion for driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance of a multi-family portfolio, ensuring assets meet financial and operational targets
Conduct regular site visits to assess property condition, operations, and team performance
Collaborate with property management teams to optimize occupancy, rent collection, and resident satisfaction
Identify operational efficiencies, implement best practices, and improve property-level procedures
Monitor and manage capital expenditure projects, renovations, and value-add initiatives
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for the portfolio
Lead or support due diligence and integration for acquisitions and dispositions
Evaluate vendor performance and assist with negotiating service contracts to ensure value for money
Report regularly to ownership or senior leadership on asset performance and strategic plans
Track market trends and competitor performance to adjust operational strategies proactively
