As Senior Manager of Wealth Digital First, you will lead digital transformation initiatives across Wealth Management to improve organizational effectiveness and business outcomes. You will provide strategic guidance to senior leaders, manage multiple programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption.
Responsibilities
Develop an expert understanding of business and group challenges.
Communicate a clear vision for digital transformation, aligning it with organizational goals.
Identify and propose measures to improve organizational effectiveness and operational performance.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior leaders on new initiatives and long‑term priorities.
Recommend business priorities, advise on resource requirements, and develop a roadmap for execution.
Operate at a group/enterprise‑wide level as a senior specialist resource across BMO.
Manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously, resolving conflicting priorities.
Support program execution, assess effectiveness, and adapt as needed.
Break down strategic problems, analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
Work on initiatives with varied complexity involving multiple stakeholders across BMO.
Act as a relationship manager on assigned projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
Interact with various BMO groups to ensure strategy and initiatives meet governance requirements.
Consult or serve on committees and task forces as needed.
Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure alignment between stakeholders and influence how teams work together.
Keep stakeholders informed of messages, recommendations, decisions, processes, and progress.
Collaborate with stakeholders to provide business context in program design, development, and implementation.
Leverage insights, analytics, and reporting to inform business decisions.
Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues.
Assess and adapt existing operational programs; develop new capabilities to ensure ongoing success.
Apply foresight principles to identify industry trends and gain competitive insights.
Drive cross‑business coordination and logistical support for change implementation.
Apply expertise creatively to address ambiguous situations and find solutions to complex problems.
Communicate abstract concepts in simple terms.
Foster strong internal and external networks to achieve business objectives.
Anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and implement appropriate changes.
Foster a culture aligned to BMO purpose and values, role‑modeling BMO behaviours.
Ensure alignment between values and behaviour to foster diversity and inclusion.
Connect work to BMO’s purpose, set inspirational goals, define clear expected outcomes, and ensure accountability.
Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience and post‑secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Broad knowledge of bank products, services, and organization.
In‑depth expertise in wealth management and/or financial industry.
Seasoned professional with a blend of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
Strong consultative experience and thought leadership in digital transformation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
Influence skills at an executive level.
Collaboration and teamwork skills focused on cross‑group collaboration.
Able to manage ambiguity.
Data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
Strong financial and quantitative skills, including ROI analysis and performance metrics.
Understanding of process automation, RPA, and workflow optimization.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Solid knowledge of AI tools and platforms such as Power Automate or UiPath.
Salary: $86,000 – $160,000 (Salaried). Compensation may include performance‑based incentives.
