About the Role:

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven  Senior Marketing Manager  to lead acquisition programs for our  Direct Lending  business. Reporting to the Director, Marketing (Direct Lending), this role is pivotal in driving customer growth through high‑performing channels, optimizing marketing investments, and delivering actionable insights that shape business decisions. You will be responsible for transforming our Direct Mail and Affiliate channels, owning acquisition measurement, and leading cross‑functional optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Leadership & Transformation

Direct Mail Program :
Lead the transformation of our Direct Mail strategy, including right‑sizing the channel, streamlining production processes, and driving cost efficiencies while maintaining performance.

Affiliate Acquisition :
Manage and grow the Affiliate channel by partnering with external organizations to generate high‑quality leads. Optimize cost‑per‑acquisition and scale performance through strategic collaboration.

Acquisition Measurement & Insights

Own the  end‑to‑end acquisition measurement framework  across all channels (inclusive of the channels owned by others that support Direct Lending programs).

Develop and deliver timely, actionable insights that highlight business health, trends, and opportunities.

Create urgency and alignment across teams through clear communication of performance metrics, leading ongoing Performance forums/conversations with key stakeholders.

Optimization & Performance Management

Lead real‑time  optimization sessions  with key stakeholders to reallocate investments and maximize ROI across channels.

Drive a test‑and‑learn culture, identifying opportunities for experimentation and scaling successful initiatives.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Digital Marketing to collaborate on the delivery of a total Acquisition channel view.

Partner with the  Direct Lending Product Team  to align on offers, promotions, and testing strategies.

Collaborate with  Analytics  to operationalize reporting, diagnostics, and performance tracking tools. Co‑lead the Attribution framework with Analytics, ensuring the continued evolution of this important tool is reflective of the evolving mix and consumer behaviour.

Work closely with Finance to manage the  Acquisition Budget and Forecasting , and  Pro Forma  frameworks, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

What you bring:

7+ years of progressive experience in  performance marketing , preferably in  financial services or lending .

Proven success in managing  direct mail and/or affiliate marketing programs .

Strong analytical mindset with experience in  marketing measurement, attribution, and optimization .

Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.

Experience with  budget management and forecasting .

Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus.
