Liberty Entertainment Group is seeking a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead one of our premier locations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to oversee daily operations, inspire and manage a high-performing team, and uphold the highest standards of guest service, operational excellence, and profitability in line with our brand values.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring both run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service with guests to understand their needs and exceed their expectations
- Consistently review operations to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members and assess performance on an ongoing basis
- Lead a positive team environment by recognizing and reinforcing individual and team accomplishments
- Preparing tip outs, cash floats and cashing out servers and bartenders
- Follow inventory control procedures and guidelines
- Establish and delegate work duties to staff members as needed
- Manage biweekly payroll reports and labour cost
- Hiring, training and managing front of house staff
- Review operational reports and records to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Other related duties assigned by the management
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in a managerial role; minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager
- Extensive knowledge of liquors and wines is an asset
- Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling software, and restaurant operations.
- Strong customer service background and excellent communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Ability to train and delegate
- Ability to work flexible hours, days, weekends shifts including holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
