** Position Summary
** The Senior Finance & Regulatory Lead is intended to evolve into the leadership position responsible for establishing and overseeing all financial, regulatory, and reporting functions for the Canadian Branch of a U.S.‐domiciled insurance company. In the near term, the individual in this role will work closely with a third-party consulting firm and internal stakeholders to implement the financial, regulatory and operational processes necessary to support the Branch’s launch and ongoing operations.  

This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to help build the Canadian Branch from the ground up and grow into a key leadership role with broad responsibility for its financial and regulatory oversight.

*** Oversee financial reporting, accounting and month-end close activities for the Canadian Branch under IFRS, U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory reporting frameworks;
