About Us

The Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto is at the centre of one of North America’s largest biomedical research, education and clinical care networks. With 14 fully affiliated research-intensive hospitals — and dozens more community and clinical care sites — Temerty Medicine offers unparalleled opportunities in Canada's most dynamic city for our more than 9,000 faculty and staff and 7,000 learners at all levels.

As Manager, Planning and Operations, you will serve as strategic partner providing rotational leadership and operational support to designated departments across the Temerty Faculty of Medicine. Reporting to the Faculty Comptroller & Chief Financial Officer, you will help advance short- and long-term strategic planning, enhance operational efficiencies across academic, research, and administrative units, and ensure seamless continuity during department leadership transitions.

Your ability to embrace new challenges as they emerge, coupled with your exceptional financial management and people leadership skills, will enable you to evaluate processes, navigate complex funding models and integrate financial planning with strategic objectives. By effectively leading teams through uncertainty, you will play a vital role in advancing our faculty’s operational agility and collective impact.
