Lead finance, workforce planning, and business services for the City of Toronto’s Customer Experience Division in a hybrid Metro Hall setting.
The Manager, Finance & Business Services oversees financial, human resources, business, and administrative services. This full-time permanent position manages operating and capital budgets, labour relations, procurement, contracts, and performance analysis. The role supports senior management, corporate partners, and divisional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop divisional plans and recommend program-specific policies
- Coordinate annual budgets and control approved expenditures
- Monitor financial activities, reconciliations, purchasing, and compliance
- Manage staffing, payroll, labour relations, and workforce planning
- Lead contracts, service agreements, and business support operations
- Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business administration, or related discipline
- Extensive financial management experience in complex organizations
- Experience managing human resources and labour relations functions
- Experience leading teams and multidisciplinary project teams
- Knowledge of municipal legislation, procurement, and public sector governance
