Director Operations and Strategy

Lead operational strategy and execution as a Director supporting independent medical assessments and rehabilitation services across Canada. Work hybrid in the Greater Toronto Area with regular office presence.
Reporting to the President and COO, this senior leadership position connects strategic planning, operational alignment, and client management. You will translate business strategies into measurable departmental goals, lead transformation initiatives, and maintain relationships with insurer vendor managers. The role requires financial literacy, regulated professional services experience, and hands-on leadership across multidisciplinary operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on annual and strategic planning with executive leadership
Translate strategies into priorities, metrics, and actionable departmental goals
Champion restructures, service launches, technology upgrades, and market expansions
Lead insurer vendor relationships, reviews, escalations, and service performance
Manage budgets, capacity, margins, volumes, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Seven years of progressive operations leadership experience
Three years at director or senior management level
Background in healthcare, disability management, insurance, or regulated services
Strong financial literacy and strategic execution experience
Post-secondary education in business, healthcare administration, or related discipline
