Lead Canadian Wealth Management Operations at RBC in Toronto, applying regulatory expertise and strategic leadership across diverse business lines and teams.
As Senior Director, Operations, you will guide experienced managers and oversee complex operational functions. You will shape strategies for regulatory readiness, system implementations, risk mitigation, and process improvement. The position requires collaboration with technology, compliance, risk partners, regulators, auditors, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead large professional teams across regulatory and operational mandates
- Develop strategies for readiness, regulations, and system implementations
- Represent RBC with regulators, auditors, and industry associations
- Oversee internal controls, documentation, and enterprise risk standards
- Monitor metrics, risks, resilience, and operational effectiveness
- 10+ years in financial services operations and regulatory compliance
- Canadian and international tax knowledge, including CRA and IRS
- Leadership experience managing large, diverse teams and complex functions
- Experience driving strategic change, improvements, and risk mitigation
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
