Brewing Line Lead – Molson Coors Beverage Company
Location:
Toronto, ON | Pay Range: $100,400 – $131,800 per year
The Brewing Line Lead will independently own a 24‑hour beer production operation. You will coach a diverse hourly workforce, drive World Class manufacturing principles, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, cost‑efficient beer to packaging customers.
Responsibilities- Lead a 24‑hour production operation, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
- Coach and develop hourly individuals, providing feedback, accountability, and direction.
- Execute a 90‑day plan to address losses and build capability.
- Drive World Class Supply Chain principles—centerlines, changeovers, defect handling, and clean‑inspect‑lubrication.
- Develop and maintain staffing plans that meet business needs and budget constraints.
- Coordinate change management across the line, creating a culture of engagement and flexibility.
- Collaborate on long‑term brewing strategy projects with peers and cross‑functional groups.
- Deep knowledge of brewing functions: raw material storage, transfer, fermentation, yeast management, filtration, and blending.
- Understanding of interrelationships among Brewing, Packaging, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance.
- Familiarity with process control systems, data logging, production databases, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies (5 Why, FFA, RCA).
- Strong planning, organizing, and business acumen to anticipate future needs.
- Awareness of OSHA, GMP, state agricultural, TTB, FDA, and environmental regulations.
- Basic maintenance troubleshooting skills and CMMS experience.
- Flexibility to respond to frequent production changes and equipment failures.
- Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing and Molson Coors World Class Supply Chain 2.0.
- Experience with budgeting and basic financial metrics.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- B.S. or B.A. in Brewing Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
Base Salary: $100,400 – $131,800 per year
Target Short‑Term Incentive: 13% of base
