Materials Scheduler
Responsible for creating process orders, managing the flow of bulk and raw materials, and maintaining accurate inventory to ensure uninterrupted production. This role focuses on minimizing waste while adhering to company policies.
Responsibilities- Create and manage process orders.
- Oversee the flow of bulk and raw materials to meet production needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Minimize waste through effective material management.
- Hands‑on experience in material/demand planning, inventory management, or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, with a preference for SAP.
- Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in supply chain, business, or a related field.
- Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting new product launches and setting up supply chains.
This permanent opportunity offers growth within a large, established, and stable employer in the industry. Employees benefit from shoe reimbursement up to $75 after three months of service and receive overtime pay after 40 hours.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is a large manufacturing/GMP facility with heavily automated, state‑of‑the‑art equipment. The facility is temperature‑controlled and very clean. Compliance with GMP requirements is mandatory, which includes wearing PPE such as hairnets, beard nets, coats, and safety shoes. The facility employs about 400–500 people, divided into four crews of approximately 100 each. The standard work schedule is from 8 AM to 4 PM.

This is a Contract position based out of Toronto, ON.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 – $29.00 /hr.
