Vice President – Operations
A global manufacturer in the engineered equipment and automation sector is seeking a  Vice President of Operations  to provide strategic and operational leadership across all manufacturing-related functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will shape the company’s operational strategy, optimize performance across production and supply chain, and drive collaboration between operations, engineering, quality, and commercial teams.

While daily plant operations are led by the Plant Manager, the VP of Operations holds full accountability for operational excellence, process optimization, and alignment with corporate growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute operational strategies supporting growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Oversee manufacturing and supply chain performance through strong KPI management.

Drive capital planning, process improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives to enhance capacity and efficiency.

Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Sales to ensure seamless project execution.

Strengthen quality systems, improve cost of quality, and lead root-cause-based continuous improvement.

Coach and develop operational leaders, building bench strength and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and safety.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally within engineered-to-order or capital equipment environments.

Demonstrated success leading through a multi-site or plant structure.

Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, data‑driven performance management, and ERP systems.
