Digital Press Operator

Our client in Toronto requires a Digital Press Operator is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital printing press and CAD table equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining safety standards, and adhering to customer specifications.

Digital Press Operation & Maintenance:
 Operate and maintain digital printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials,
ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications.
 Set up press machines according to job specifications, production schedules, and customer
requirements.
 Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make adjustments to ensure
continuous operation of digital presses.
 Inspect printed materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency with client specifications.
 Maintain optimal production rates while ensuring consistent color density, registration, and
overall print quality.
2. Quality Assurance & Process Optimization:
 Verify job specifications, including size, color, board type, and ink color, to ensure compliance
with job orders.
 Conduct quality checks throughout the production process and ensure all products meet
internal and client standards.
 Print proof sheets to verify press setup before full production and make necessary
adjustments.
 Collaborate with production and design teams to optimize methods, minimize waste, and
enhance product quality.
3. Collaboration & Communication:
 Work closely with the production team to ensure timely workflow and the successful
completion of jobs.
 Utilize departmental communication systems to track schedules, report progress, and address
any issues promptly.
 Contribute to team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with other departments to
improve operational performance.
4. CAD Table Operation:
 Set up and adjust the CAD cutting table for production runs, following die line specifications.
 Operate the CAD table in accordance with safety protocols and production requirements.
 Ensure the completion of CAD table production orders and timely delivery to customers.
 Operate production CAD Table to run sample requests for design department which exceed 4
