Dynamics 365 F&O Production Senior Consultant or Manager

Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams, providing deep functional expertise in Production Control, Manufacturing, and Shop Floor processes.
Lead Production work streams on full‑cycle D365 F&O implementations, including discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing (as applicable), and lean manufacturing concepts.
Analyze client manufacturing operations:
Bills of Materials, routing and resource capacity, production scheduling, material consumption and costing.
Design and configure D365 F&O solutions for production orders and lifecycle management, master planning integration, capacity planning, shop floor control, and production costing and variance analysis.
Provide leadership on multi‑stream supply chain projects, mentoring junior consultants and ensuring quality delivery.
Identify opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes, improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance visibility.
Support integration points between Production and Inventory & Warehouse Management, Procurement and sourcing, Sales & demand planning, Finance & cost accounting.
Facilitate workshops, document requirements, and lead solution design sessions.
Deliver end‑user training and support user adoption of production processes in D365.
Contribute to proposal development, estimations, and practice growth initiatives.

Experience and Education 5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O / AX consulting experience, specializing in Production Control / Manufacturing.
Strong specialization in delivering full‑cycle D365 F&O implementations with a focus on production.
Deep functional knowledge: production orders and lifecycle management, BOM & routing, capacity planning & scheduling, shop floor execution & reporting, production costing (standard & actual).
Experience with complex manufacturing environments (e.g., multi‑site, make‑to‑order, make‑to‑stock, engineer‑to‑order).
Understanding of integrated supply chain processes: inventory management, master planning, warehouse management.
Experience with Quality Management, including event‑triggered Quality Orders, production order operations, test parameters, and instruments.
Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or MES integrations is an asset.
Exposure to Finance, Asset Management, or Project Operations considered an asset.
Microsoft Dynamics certifications in relevant disciplines are preferred.
Strong skills in business process analysis and redesign, requirements gathering & documentation, stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation.
Self‑motivated, articulate, and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Salary range: $84,000 – $165,000 annually.
Equipment, travel and travel allowances will be provided per project requirement.
