Laser Digital Cutter/CNC Laser Operator-North York-Entry-level
Randstad is hiring and looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Cutting Machine Operator for a contract position at our client's North York facility.

Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Shift Available:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm
- Monday to Friday: 4:30pm-1:00am
Available to start immediately

- Expertly operate Trotect SP 1500 or PS400 laser machines to cut materials following precise design specifications.
- Utilize CAD and Corel
DRAW software to create and modify design files for laser cutting. - Prepare the laser machine by setting up parameters, adjusting settings, and calibrating the equipment for different materials and cutting requirements.
- Inspect cut materials for precision, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of materials used, production output, and any machine issues encountered during operations.
- Proficiency in operating Trotect SP 1500 or PS400 laser machines with hands‑on experience in CAD and Corel
DRAW software. - Prior experience of 1-2 years in laser cutting operations, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to adjust laser beam focal point and establish appropriate stop locations.
- Ability to ensure accuracy in cutting materials and translate design specifications into finished products, including dimensional inspections.
- Support in any tasks requested by production as required.
- Ability to work under fast paced environment.
- Capability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Capacity to work with different materials and designs, adjusting settings accordingly.
- Good communication.
