This role offers a day shift schedule and competitive benefits.
As part of Howden Canada, the Welder Fitter will play a crucial role in building products from blueprints and conducting initial inspections. You'll be expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety in your work environment. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fit and weld products per specifications
• Conduct initial product safety and quality inspections
• Keep equipment and workspace organized and clean
• Follow all Health and Safety and Environmental guidelines
• Undertake additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of relevant welding and fitting experience
• Experience with thin gauge stainless steel and steel alloys
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
• Ability to interpret welding blueprints
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
