Reporting to the Manager, you will manage packers on the shop floor while promoting a continuous improvement culture. This role complements candidates with strong supervisory and leadership experience in manufacturing contexts and a passion for operational excellence. Good communication skills are critical for this supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and resolve personnel issues among packers
• Schedule and adjust workloads based on production needs
• Manage training programs and safety compliance
• Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct audits and communication meetings for production
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Engineering or Business is an asset
• Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Effective communication skills in English
