Plant Manager

Seeking a Plant Manager for their North Battleford facility. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on daily plant operations, team supervision, and driving improvements to bring the facility to full operational capability. • Oversee daily plant operations including production, cleaning, sizing, splitting, loading/unloading, and maintenance while ensuring food safety and quality standards
• Identify operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and output
• Supervise and support staff while ensuring compliance with safety standards, policies, and legislation
• Manage grain specifications, receiving standards, and equipment performance
• Support maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability
• Foster a positive culture focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Assist with budget tracking and cost management
• Monitor plant performance and support reporting, planning, and process improvements
• Build relationships with suppliers, logistics partners, and customers
• Work closely with leadership to align operations with company goals

• Post‑secondary education in a related field or equivalent hands‑on experience
• 5+ years in plant, processing, or manufacturing environments with leadership responsibility
• Food manufacturing, agri‑food, or regulated processing experience is an asset
• Knowledge of safety regulations and food safety standards
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable with budgeting and cost management
• Proficiency with maintenance planning/documentation software
• Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
• Electrical certifications (433A, 442A, or 309A) are considered an asset)
