Our exclusive client a global leader in food manufacturing is looking for licensed Millwrights with the right personality and excellent skills to join their team on a permanent basis in East York, ON

Shift Schedule
  • Day shift (6am to 2.30pm)
  • Afternoon shift (2pm to 10.30pm)
  • Night shift (10pm to 6.30am)
  • Weekend A (6am to 6.30pm & 2 weekday shifts)
  • Weekend B (6pm to 6.30am & 2 weekday shifts)
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate of Qualification required.
  • Minimum 5 years of Millwright experience, including at least 2 years within a manufacturing environment;
    food manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with electrical aptitude and exposure to industrial electrical systems.
  • Hands‑on experience maintaining and repairing DC equipment, processing equipment, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and other production machinery.
  • Experience with machine installations, equipment set‑up, line changeovers, alignment, fabrication of parts, and machinery repairs.
  • Proven experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience supporting production line start‑ups, equipment adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortable working with CMMS systems, maintenance documentation, and safety procedures.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health & safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and GMP standards within manufacturing environments.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and on‑call schedules as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a proactive and safety‑focused mindset.
