Job DescriptionProduction Chemist/Operator to join our team. The person will be responsible for manufacturing chemicals according to predefined procedures and within health and safety operating procedures.
What You’ll Do- Proper use and care of equipment.
- Rigid adherence to production specifications and procedures.
- Strict compliance with housekeeping protocol, Health & Safety requirements.
- Ensuring all required documentation is current, complete and accurate.
- Working to improve your skills and those of your colleagues.
- Developing and maintaining thorough understanding of chemicals used in manufacturing, production procedures and underlying chemistry.
- Supporting team members with your sound understanding of safe operations in the plant.
- Working 12‑hour shifts, rotating day/night every month:
Week 1 – 36 hrs., Week 2 – 48 hrs., Week 3 – 36 hrs., Week 4 – 48 hrs.
- Enthusiasm for acquiring new skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team communication skills.
- Strict attention to detail at all times (following procedures, documentation, equipment usage, chemical storage/disposal/handling).
- Comfort working in an ethnically diverse working environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Willingness to wear PPE, including a lab coat, safety glasses, hard hat, and a full‑face or partial‑face respirator.
- B.Sc. degree in chemistry or college diploma in chemical technology or a related field.
- Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant is an asset.

Compensation: $55,000‑$60,000 CAD + 5% shift differential.
