TRG is hiring for a well-established client in premium office furniture manufacturing, known for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, innovation, and scalable custom solutions for modern workplaces.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a results-driven operations professional who can elevate plant performance, strengthen cross-functional execution, and align production excellence with customer expectations and business growth
What You'll Be Responsible For- Leading all manufacturing operations to ensure production, quality, safety, financial, and delivery objectives are consistently achieved
- Driving operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles, workflow optimization, equipment utilization, and plant layout improvement
- Managing and developing both salaried and unionized teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, coaching, and succession planning
- Collaborating with VP on strategic initiatives, expansion projects, automation investments, CNC technology implementation, material handling systems, and facility enhancement
- Developing and managing manufacturing budgets while monitoring key performance indicators such as labor efficiency, scrap reduction, quality performance, and on-time production
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Supporting sustainability initiatives through waste reduction and energy-efficient manufacturing practice
- Delivering operational reports and recommendations to executive leadership to support business growth and decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial operations
- Strong background in high-mix, custom manufacturing environments (preferred: office furniture or similar industries)
- Deep knowledge of production systems, quality frameworks, and operational best practices
- Hands‑on experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (5S strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical skills in capacity planning, cost optimization, process improvement, and KPI management
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and health, safety, and environmental regulation
- A senior leadership role with direct impact on operational performance and strategic growth
