Become an Inventory Planner at Knoll's Toronto facility and impact operational efficiency. This full-time position is key to optimizing supply chain processes.
The Inventory Planner works under the guidance of the Production and Inventory Manager to facilitate effective inventory control. You will proactively monitor stock levels, coordinate with production teams, and manage issues related to parts shortages and quality. Collaboration across departments is essential to meet deadlines and enhance lean manufacturing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure inventory levels align with demand forecasts
• Address quality concerns with non-conforming products
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain shop floor controls following safety policies
• Manage relationships with vendors to place orders
Requirements:
• Education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in inventory roles
• Proficiency in Excel and MRP systems
• Strong analytical and multitasking abilities
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
