Chief Operator

Responsibilities
Day-to-day operation of a state of the art cold & dry storage distribution center
Operate ammonia/CO2 refrigeration systems as outlined in the TSSA regulations
Conduct facility inspections on a regular basis
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Coordination and communication to operators as to required tasking to clients and liaising with facility management
Creation of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and record of training (ROT's)

Required Professional Knowledge,

Skills & Qualifications
4-6 years of experience of relevant experience in an Operator role or similar
2-4 years of experience overseeing a team
Post-secondary education and valid Refrigeration Operator Class B, as well 3rd Class Engineers
Competent computer and administration skills
Valid working at heights, WHMIS, Ariel platform certifications is an asset (training provided as needed)
