Lassonde Beverages Canada Plant A small unionized plant of 150 employees that work together as a team to achieve great success.
Overview We are looking for an experienced, passionate and results‑oriented Continuous Improvement Plant Engineer to join our Lassonde Beverages Canada facility in Toronto. Under the responsibility of the Plant Manager, the mandate is to ensure the smooth running of production in terms of reliability, capacity and repeatability of processes and equipment. You will apply recognized engineering standards and practices to document, control and improve production equipment, mobilize employees and managers towards a culture of continuous improvement, and achieve plant objectives.

Key Activities Collect data and analyze the use of production equipment, labor and machinery
Plan and implement control plans
Maintain and improve the parameterization of production equipment
Provide technical support to the entire plant
Plan continuous improvement activities and support cost reduction initiatives
Study the profitability of improvement projects
Suggest and implement new technologies
Coach and coordinate internal resources
Participate and lead the continuous improvement committee
Collaborate to improve workplace safety and ensure recommendations and changes are implemented
Schedule and coordinate project meetings
Conduct regular follow‑ups on current projects and write reports
Act as a change agent
Education & experience required Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering. Minimum five years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Plant Engineer or a similar role.
Experience with Lean tools, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
Competencies Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving and mathematics skills
Ability to fact‑find and develop viable solutions
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment
Demonstrated innovation and curiosity
Ability to prioritize, multitask and lead multiple projects simultaneously
