Role Overview Alight’s Production Specialist is the primary role in the Client Support Services (CSS) operation. The Production Specialist will ultimately perform all aspects and duties within the CSS operation, including activities associated with inbound and outbound client deliverables.
Responsibilities Use scanners, printers, and assembly equipment to exceed customer expectations.
Work closely with the Workflow Coordinator and management to balance incoming work with critical outgoing mail.
Communicate transparently and timely with senior colleagues and management to ensure world‑class service delivery.
Receive inbound mail, sort it by client, and scan it on the imaging scanner following established SOPs.
Operate, set up, finish, reconcile, and perform light maintenance on high‑speed print devices.
Assemble documents manually, including hand folding, collation, insertion, and reconciliation of personalized copies.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and operate stand‑alone postage meters.
Manage receiving/warehousing activities (shipping/receiving, material evaluation/validation, put away/order pulling, cycle counting), staging, and gathering all components of bill of materials for final assembly of finished goods ready for shipping.
Requirements Good problem‑solving skills.
Strong work ethic with a high level of accountability, honesty, and integrity.
Willingness to work a moderately flexible schedule to meet business demands.
At least 2 years of experience in operations, production printing, automated inserting, or receiving/warehousing.
Readiness to learn how to set up, operate, and troubleshoot all equipment and procedures across production areas.
Effective communication skills in a professional environment.
Ability to work with accuracy, neatness, and speed while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Education High School diploma or GED.
