OPEX Leader Packaging

Position: OPEX Leader Packaging at Teva Pharmaceuticals
Drive continuous improvement as an Operational Excellence Leader for packaging at Teva Pharmaceuticals in Toronto, Canada. Optimize bottle and blister packaging processes while achieving significant gains in safety, quality, and costs.

As the Operational Excellence Leader, you will support the Director of Operations by leading initiatives that enhance performance within the packaging sector. Your expertise in solid-dose manufacturing, especially for bottle and blister packaging, is crucial to driving impactful improvements. This role demands a blend of technical prowess with leadership to effectively coach teams and guide CI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packaging

• Analyze and enhance line performance and material yield

• Collaborate with site leadership on savings targets

• Prepare performance reviews and action tracking for Steerco meetings

• Mentor team members on problem-solving methodologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Discipline

• Over 5 years of production/manufacturing experience

• 3+ years in Lean or Operational Excellence in pharmaceuticals

• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools

• Preferred Green or Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma
