Join Promation in Oakville as a Precision CNC Machinist, where your skills in machining and programming will directly contribute to innovative automation solutions. Ensure quality and safety while creating critical components.
You will manage the production of machined parts by setting up and operating CNC and manual machines. This position demands expertise in interpreting blueprints and GD&T while programming with Mastercam and G-Code. Engage in technical troubleshooting and coordinate shop activities to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review engineering plans and schedule machining work
• Set up and adjust CNC mills and lathes accurately
• Conduct sample measurements and adjust machine controls
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace
• Collaborate with engineering for design improvements
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in machining or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in CNC machining
• Proficient in Quality Control procedures
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently
