Be a vital part of an automotive manufacturing plant in Kitchener, ON as the Maintenance & Facilities Manager. Lead maintenance efforts, ensuring efficient operations and team performance.

In this hands-on managerial role, you'll guide 25–30 tradespeople, enhancing the maintenance culture at a high-volume production facility. You'll develop preventive maintenance strategies, manage budgets, and oversee facility upgrades.

Your role will also involve driving compliance with safety standards and automating production systems, including PLC and CNC technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee maintenance leadership for skilled trades

• Implement preventive maintenance programs and practices

• Manage facility systems and upgrade projects

• Troubleshoot and maintain PLC, robotics, and CNC equipment

• Direct budget management for maintenance operations

Requirements:

• 5+ years in leadership roles in manufacturing

• Skilled trades experience:
Electrician, Millwright, etc.

• Expertise in automation and troubleshooting

• Proven team leadership in union and non-union settings

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities
