Position: Afternoon Tank Farm Operator Role
GFL Environmental seeks a dedicated Tank Farm Operator for afternoon shifts in Toronto. Ensure safe operations in the tank farm and compliance with environmental standards.

This role involves collaborating with Operations Supervisors to execute day-to-day tasks while adhering to health and safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have prior tank farm experience and the ability to perform hands-on maintenance and operational duties. Successful completion of drug and alcohol tests is required for this safety-sensitive position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in health and safety programs

• Load and off-load wastewater safely and accurately

• Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance

• Process containerized waste per lab instructions

• Maintain effective communication with team members

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar industrial role

• Licensing and experience with forklifts necessary

• Knowledge of environmental regulations preferred

• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities

• Must pass a drug and alcohol test
