Drive bakery innovation at FGF Group as a Food/Bakery Technologist. Focus on enhancing product quality and efficiency through expert technical support to alleviate production challenges.
The ideal candidate will work as a Process Engineer, conducting thorough investigations into product variations while leading troubleshooting efforts across facilities. In this role, you will closely collaborate with manufacturing teams and provide essential training to ensure quality standards meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will optimize processes and identify cost-saving solutions for ingredient use.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to enhance product quality
• Analyze and resolve product variations scientifically
• Innovate current processes and test new technologies
• Share knowledge on equipment capabilities with teams
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in production
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of Bakery R&D experience
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
• Flexibility to travel across Canada (approx. 25%)
• Bilingual in French is an asset
