Responsibilities- Operate and maintain high‑speed packaging equipment safely, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability targets.
- Execute autonomous maintenance (AM) and progressive maintenance (PM) standards, perform standard work processes, and observe safety procedures.
- Understand and report equipment losses, including downtime and stoppages, using Shoplogix software.
- Perform quality inspections, record checks in IQS systems, and maintain 5S standards throughout the shift.
- Set up, operate, and monitor machines to achieve optimal production performance, conduct efficient changeovers, and document machine parameters.
- Conduct shiftily pitstop activities—cleaning, inspection, and lubrication—to maintain basic equipment condition.
- Assist with preventive maintenance, replace machine components as required, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and update SOPs and OPLs to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working flexible hours, covering line gaps, and learning to operate other packaging lines as needed.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and sanitation teams to meet production goals and improve line performance.
- Safely perform manual handling tasks, lift up to 30 lbs., operate pallet jacks, and stand, bend, and work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment for extended periods.
- Experience operating packaging or manufacturing equipment in a food production environment (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety practices, GMPs, food safety, and quality systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and effective communication.
- Teamwork, problem‑solving skills, and a positive attitude with willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma. Post‑secondary education is an asset.
- Annual salary range: $49,105.00 to $68,757.00 CAD.
- Eligible for a competitive bonus program with a target of 5% and potential over achievement based on performance.
- Shift premiums and/or overtime may apply.

- Manufacturing plant environment with noise, dust, and variable temperatures.

- Company‑mandated uniform required.
- Work schedule includes all shifts, continental shifts, and weekends.
