Sanitation Supervisor; East York

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sanitation Team Lead to join our bakery production team. This role is responsible for leading the sanitation department, ensuring all cleaning and sanitation procedures are completed effectively, safely, and in accordance with company standards.

• Lead and supervise the sanitation team on a daily basis.
• Assign tasks and provide transparent direction to team members.
• Ensure all sanitation activities are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Coordinate sanitation activities across different operational areas of the bakery.
• Promote a safe and productive work environment.

• Previous experience in a sanitation, cleaning, or sanitation leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to motivate, train, and supervise employees.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial sanitation is an asset.
• Tamil-speaking candidates are highly preferred.

As part of the training process, the successful candidate will be cross-trained in various areas of the bakery. During this period, the schedule may vary.

• Standard shift start times:
  Between 5:00 AM and 3:00 PM

$19.00 per hour
