In this role, you will be deeply involved in the manufacturing process, interpreting complex schematics and executing grinding and turning of optical components. You’ll work within established AS9100 standards while collaborating with engineers to diagnose and resolve optical component faults. This role is integral to fulfilling national security objectives by delivering innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret complex mechanical and optical schematics accurately

• Execute grinding, polishing, and troubleshooting of optical parts

• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives

• Analyze and resolve faults in optical components

• Document maintenance and testing results thoroughly

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 2-5 years related experience

• Previous work in an ISO environment an asset

• Ability to manage delicate optical parts safely

• Experience with complex equipment operations

• Registered eligibility for Controlled Goods Program
