COBS Bread is growing, and we’re looking for a Baker (Bloor/Spadina) to join our team. We provide a fun work environment, comprehensive training, and excellent opportunities for career advancement. No experience needed, as long as you have the right attitude and you’re interested in learning new skills!

• Work as part of a small team to bake products from scratch early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
• Read production schedules and recipes, measure and mix ingredients, mold and shape dough, and operate ovens
• Keep the bakery clean and provide friendly customer service

• Take on morning shifts starting as early as 4:00 am on weekends and 4:30 am on weekdays
• Previous baking and/or customer service experience is an asset, but not required; training is provided
• Maintain a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong sense of urgency

• Continuous standing and walking for all tasks
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 9 kg, occasional lifting up to 22 kg
• Frequent turning, reaching, and constant use of both hands with wrist rotation
• Occasional forceful gripping, pushing, pulling, and forward bending
