Technical Packaging Manager - Nestlé

Lead packaging innovation at Nestlé Canada as a Technical Packaging Manager in North York, ON. This hybrid role invites you to shape packaging initiatives and manage technical projects crucial to product success.

In this 12-month contract position, you will be instrumental in executing business strategies focused on packaging development and standards. Your responsibilities will extend from managing factory trials to optimizing packaging processes, while maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers and internal teams. Drive change and continuous improvement in packaging operations that align with consumer needs and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute medium to high complexity I&R packaging projects

• Organize and analyze factory trials for new packaging

• Evaluate technical feasibility of innovative packaging solutions

• Enhance filling and palletization operations through optimization

• Oversee supplier relationships for material complaints resolution

Requirements:

• 6+ years’ experience in packaging development

• Degree in Engineering, with a focus on Packaging preferred

• Strong grasp of sustainability in packaging

• Excellent multi-project management abilities

• Factory operations experience with packaging processes
