The Life Cycle Support Intern will assist in analyzing customer systems, commercial performance indicators, and operating reports. Key Accountabilities Assist with project management for service contracts.
Support the response to customer requests and resolution (e.g., technical queries, expediting, etc.)Develop and adhere to project budgets and schedules.
Assist in the preparation of reports for management review and liaise with all levels within the company.
Develop digital tools to facilitate project needs and improve project management efficiency.
Ensure proper management of the current configuration, validation of the original model, and control of versioning.
Assist in bid management for service contracts to meet defined order intake targets
Assist in responding to RFQs, RFPs, and other customer requests
Assist in evaluating customer specifications and assessing Hitachi Rail solution compliance
Assist in delivering proposals within targeted performance (customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, bid cost vs. budget, etc.)Assist in customer account management, including regular communication and visits
Interface with the customer or on-site Hitachi Rail team regarding technical and operational subjects related to the capture and processing of requests, service delivery, and the delivery of associated documents
Analyze customer feedback, performance indicators, and operating reports. Produce and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and compare them with targets set both internally and externally
Assist in monitoring the impact of obsolescence, software and hardware change requests, and lead resolution actions while effectively communicating with the customer.
Key Requirements The successful candidate should be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Completion of the second or third year of an undergraduate program, or currently pursuing a Master’s degree.
Strong proficiency in Visual Basic (VB) and other programming languages.
Strong command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication…
