Production Worker

K-Bro Linen System Inc. operates a large, modern, commercial laundry facility located in Mississauga. We have vacancies in various production roles (General Help). We offer stable, long-term employment with excellent growth opportunities in a friendly work environment.

6045 Freemont Blvd, Mississauga ON
Hourly wage range - $18.03 to $18.54 per hour (Rates to go up July 1st!)

• Wears proper P.P.E. for work area (mandatory hairnet, optional cotton gloves, mandatory closed toe tie down shoes, earplugs recommended and supplied).
• Performs area safety check and area organization (trip hazards or unsafe or faulty equipment).
• Reports any injury & unsafe work practices (i.e. dangerous work habits).
• Responsible for performing work in a safe manner by following safety rules, regulations and emergency evacuation procedure.
• Adhering to Company Policies / Procedures and Industry Standards.

Basic responsibilities will range from operating an ironing/folding machine to packing linen for our customers and loading carts.

• Minimum 1 year experience in production facility and multicultural work staff environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills including verbal and written.
• Must be a team player – possess interpersonal skills.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and hold a work permit (valid for at least 12 months) or PR.

All positions are located in a production plant environment, and the work requires continual physical effort all day such as standing, bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, lifting, repetitive hand/wrist movement, pushing and pulling up to and including 850lbs.
