A. M. Castle & Co. as an Experienced Machine Operator in a thriving metal production setting. Operate cutting machines and contribute to meeting customer satisfaction every day.

As a machine operator, you’ll manage the setup and operation of cutting machines while ensuring every order meets carefully defined specifications. Working from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, your role includes maintaining equipment and sometimes assisting in warehouse duties, adding variety to your workload and helping meet diverse customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up cutting machines efficiently

• Process metal orders using various power equipment

• Make precise adjustments to machine settings

• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly

• Load and unload materials effectively as needed

Requirements:

• Two years of warehouse experience required

• Capability of certification in assigned machinery

• Fundamental math and measurement skills

• Understanding of warehouse procedures

• A solid work ethic and reliability
