Position SummaryAs a Production Operator, you’ll be part of a collaborative manufacturing team responsible for producing, processing, inspecting, packing, and preparing architectural glass products. Depending on business needs, Operators may work in departments such as Cutting, Edging, Tempering, Lamination, IG, Woodshop, Packing & Shipping, or other production areas.
No two days are exactly the same. We’re looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality products.
What You’ll Do- Operate manufacturing equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Handle and move glass and materials safely using appropriate equipment.
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain accurate production documentation when required.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and customer deadlines.
- Support different production areas based on operational requirements.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience operating cranes or industrial equipment is an asset; training provided.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely (up to approximately 50 lbs when required).
- Perform repetitive manual tasks requiring coordination and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working around machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to wear required PPE throughout the shift.
