Summary:
Shipper Receiver Afternoons
The Shipper Receiver is required to ensure the safe, efficient operation of their machine(s). Responsible for maintaining prescribed quantity and quality of product produced to customer specifications. Other responsibilities include general warehouse duties.
Shift & Salary:
Afternoons – Tuesday – Friday 4pm-12:00am & Saturday 10am-6:30pmAfternoons Premium ($1 premium)$23-25 per hour depending on experienceOnsite parkingCore Competencies:Quality OrientationTime ManagementProblem SolvingAccountability and DependabilityOperating EquipmentPlanning and OrganizingMathematical ReasoningJob Duties:Maintaining high production output to meet customer ordersOperate Dock stocker, Reach to move inbound and outbound freight, (Walkie a bonus)Safely operating machineryFollowing running instructions and proceduresMaintaining housekeeping in the work areaInput shipping dataCompleting all quality checks and adhering to food safety standardsParticipating in training, cross-training, and continuous improvement initiativesFollowing all health & safety policies and GMPsUsing required PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.)Fast Paced EnvironmentComputer skills neededHeavy lifting 25-50lbsExperience with hand held scannersKnowledge of ERP systems preferredRequirements:
High School diploma, GED or equivalentDock Stocker Certification a must, Walkie Certification a bonusKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preferably in a food manufacturing facilityHighly punctualAble to work as a functioning member of a teamStrong work ethicAbility to work independently in a busy environmentHighly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environmentAble to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAble to work well under pressureStrong attention to detailAble to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all timesWork Conditions / Physical Demands:
Physical ability to lift up to 23 kgsWork is performed in a combination of environments, including meat production room in temperatures of
