Industrial Fabric Cutter Machine needed in North York at a clothing company! Temp to Perm opportunity with possibility for growth. Full-time Steady days!

Monday to Friday: 7:30AM TO 4:00PM- with some Saturdays during busy season

Temp-Perm opportunity:
Experienced Manual Industrial Fabric cutter

JOB DESCRIPTION:

– Work as part of a larger team to complete a garment
~Stretching, manipulating fabrics according to work order instructions,
~Cut fabric or layers of fabric to specifications- experience with Gerber Cutting machine
~Adjust cutting technique to type of fabric & style of garment
~Examine products for defects & to ensure adherence to quality standards
– Assess the quality of garment pieces before Cutting to ensure garments are up to quality standards
– Ensure individual productivity quotas are met or exceeded on a daily basis
-Ability to distinguish between colors and patterns

Requirements:
– Minimum 1 year of experience as a manual industrial fabric cutter
– Able to read and interpret clothing patterns
– Must be detail oriented
~Some heavy lifting required- 50lbs
