Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Production Manager on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing organization committed to operational excellence, employee development, and continuous improvement. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading production operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of key operational objectives. You will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence while supporting the organization's strategic goals.

  • Pay Rate: $100,000 - $126,000/year (based on experience)

Responsibilities Operational Leadership
  • Ensure the health and safety of employees by maintaining a safe work environment and promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Lead daily production activities to achieve targets related to safety, production capacity, quality, efficiency, and operating costs.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain standardized production procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure consistent application of business processes and operational standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve production goals.
  • Ensure optimal use of resources to maximize productivity and operational performance.
Team Leadership & Employee Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment built on trust, communication, and accountability.
  • Provide active listening and support to employees while building strong working relationships.
  • Conduct regular floor walks, team meetings, and communication activities to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Manage change effectively and support employees through operational and organizational transitions.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.
  • Implement processes, tools, and best practices that drive operational excellence and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in optimization and capital investment projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and overall operational performance.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans for the production department.
  • Support the implementation of data-driven decision-making processes and performance management systems.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities.
  • Experience managing change and implementing process improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a people-first leadership approach.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) required.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Power BI considered an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
