Position: Toronto Manufacturing Technician Role
Fortis-IPOC seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Toronto for a full-time contract role. Engage in the production of blood plasma membranes, including testing and inspection.

In this contract position with potential for extension or a permanent role, you will contribute to various manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include adhering to SOPs, maintaining equipment, and documenting all processes. The role requires effective communication and organizational skills within a regulated environment to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly and testing of membrane products

• Ensure adherence to GMP and workplace safety protocols

• Complete necessary manufacturing documentation accurately

• Monitor consistency by identifying and reporting defects

• Support equipment setup and maintenance as needed

Requirements:

• Diploma in a science or technical discipline

• 2+ years of experience in a chemical or manufacturing setting

• Familiarity with precision equipment and ERP systems

• Proficient in MS Office tools like Excel and Word

• Ability to safely handle materials up to 8 kg
